  • Provide technical support to clients on battery installations and repairs.

  • Maintain optimal battery conditions in fleets of hybrid and electric vehicles as well as Energy Strage projects around the region.

  • Troubleshoot battery systems at regional sites.
  • Electric, electro-mechanic or equivalent technical field experience.

  • Technical Education background.

  • Good problem-solving and strong time management.

  • Prior experience in the transportation and/or telco and power grid sectors would be an advantage.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.

  • Ability to work on high grounds ( over 2 m aboveground).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Possess European driving license (B)
  • VCA or equivalent electrical safety license is an advantage, but not a must.
  • Participate in battery system algorithm development.

  • Combine domain knowledge with artificial intelligence.

  • Realize algorithm function and deployment via APP or Cloud platform.
  • Explore revolutionary battery management solutions via a cloud platform.
  • Coordinate information and communication in projects.
  • Provide cross-team support on digitalization strategy.
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Physics or related background is a must.

  • A team player, willing to learn and share.
  • Data process experience preferred.
  • APP/Cloud platform development background is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in solving problems and analysing root causes.
  • Has passion to learn battery domain knowledge, a multi-discipline learner.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Carry out research on battery working principles and failure mechanism, establish a multi-scale and multi physics-based battery model to realize rapid evaluation and diagnosis of battery performance.
  • Responsible for the electrochemical model establishment, parameter determination, electrochemical numerical calculation, and result analysis.
  • Investigate simulation technologies such as battery electrical performance, thermal runaway safety performance, and life prediction, and provide insight summary for team members.
  • According to the simulation results, optimize the existing product design and propose follow-up product design suggestion plans
  • Formulate and execute designs of experiments to acquire sufficient data to train, validate, and test the battery models.
  • Master or PhD degree in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Materials or Engineering disciplines.

  • Fundamental knowledge of lithium-ion cell electrochemistry and mechanisms.
  • Familiar with battery testing equipment and test protocol.
  • Familiar with commonly used electrochemical simulation software and algorithm development software, such as COMSOL, MatLab/Simulink, etc.
  • Strong solving problems and analysing root causes skills.
  • Have strong experimental hands-on skills in batteries, DOE design ability, understand battery material electrochemical testing and analysis technology, physical and chemical evaluation technology.
